Autumnal Equinox

Last week was the the Autumnal Equinox, AKA, the start of fall! Fall is a very beautiful time here in Colorado with the vareity of colors that the trees turn. While we know spare time is a rarity, if you can spare some time on a weekend, here is a few things that you can do to enjoy the colors and smells of fall:

1) Drive up 1-70 West for a couple hours. It realls starts getting beautiful once you get to Vail and anything afterwards. We realize you don't want to just drive around for a couple hours and then come back home, so stop in one of the mountain towns and do a little shopping. If you want to make the 3 hour drive, go all the way to Glenwood Springs, not only will the hot springs be a great place to relax, but the drive thru Glenwood Canyon is breathtaking.

2) A little closer to home, go hiking through Waterton Canyon in Littleton or Golden Canyon State Park. It will be well worth it.

3) Plain and simple, have a picnic at a park nearby.
